He writes that we should welcome Judge Jones’ ruling to impede any idea of Intelligent Design to be taught at Dover, Pennsylvania’s public schools “on grounds it is a thinly veiled effort to introduce a religious view of the world’s origins.” Thomas correctly observes concerning the ruling:
